Peter Dunne is a 33 year veteran of the aviation industry in Ireland. He joined the Aer Rianta organisation as an apprentice in 1971 and retired from Aer Rianta, now DAA, in 2004. Appointed by the Irish Government to the parent board of Aer Rianta and Aer Rianta International in 1992, he served an unprecedented twelve years until his retirement. He was appointed to multiple company boards as a representative of Aer Rianta, which included joint venture companies in Canada and in Russia. His education includes training courses in Corporate Governance (Cadbury, United Kingdom), Finance (Higgs & Smith) and the Directors Institute (United Kingdom).
