Desmond O’Flynn is a proven senior executive with over 30 years of commercial and professional experience in the consumer goods and the services sector. Over the last 15 years Mr O’Flynn has made his career in the aviation/airports sector, during which he has managed to CEO/MD level a number of regional airports both in Ireland and in Europe.

His broad management experience has covered the core airport activities of landside and airside operations, budgeting, airport master planning, dialogue and interaction with the country’s civil and aviation authorities, specifically Government transport ministries and aviation regulators. His core competencies also include scheduled route development, commercial planning, continuous up-skilling of operations staff to international norms, and external stakeholder relations.
