Congratulations to the man who developed and lectures on College Ireland’s programme on Fire Prevention. Brendan Kavanagh has been declared the 2021 winner of the NSAI Annual Award in recognition of the leadership roles undertaken with the approach and development of Irish and European Standards for Fire Safety. This Award comes at the apex of a career of 35 years of contributions to fire safety, a remarkable and admirable dedication.

The Award was presented to Brendan at the NSAI Standards Virtual Forum on Wednesday, 13^th October.
